Who we are

What we store when you use the order form

We measure how our order form is used, without cookies and without storing anything on your device. Each visit gets a random identifier that exists only while the page is open. For each visit we store:

  • the steps of the order form you reached and when;
  • country of registration, vehicle type, number of crossings, past or future crossing, rental car yes/no and the total amount;
  • language and device type (mobile or desktop);
  • traffic source: the website you came from (domain only), campaign (UTM) parameters and the Google Ads click identifier, if present.

We do not store your IP address, number plate or email address with this information. Your number plate and email address stay in your browser and are not sent to us.

If you ask us to notify you

Only if you tick “Notify me by email when the service is available”, we store your email address and number plate and send you one email confirming this and reminding you to pay the charge on gov.uk. We will email you once more when our service is available. Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR / UK GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time with the unsubscribe link in the email or by writing to us; we then delete your email address and number plate.

How long we keep data

Notification requests: until we have notified you, you unsubscribe, or at most 12 months. Anonymous usage data: at most 24 months. Our hosting provider’s web server logs may contain IP addresses for a short time for security purposes.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct and delete your data, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. You can complain to the Hungarian supervisory authority (NAIH, naih.hu) or the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
